Abuja (Core Reporters) Senator Emmanuel Olajide Ipinsagba representing Ondo North Senatorial District at the 10th Assembly In an Exclusive Interview with members of the National New Media Forum (Forum of Accredited Online Journalists) in his office on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, unveiled some of his giant strides on various constituency projects so far executed in his constituents

Dist. Senator Ipinsagba has made significant strides in various areas, including agriculture, education, health, and infrastructure, benefiting his constituents. Here are some of his notable achievements:

Agricultural Advancement: Facilitated agricultural training programs and distributed fertilizers to farmers, enhancing productivity and food security

Healthcare Development: Constructed a modern health center in Akunnu-Akoko and distributed health equipment to the State Specialist Hospital, Ikare-Akoko, improving healthcare infrastructure and outcomes.

Empowerment Initiatives: Trained and empowered women and youths in confectioneries, ICT, and tailoring, providing start-up grants and equipment to promote self-reliance and job creation.

Infrastructure Development: Constructed a 1.5-kilometer road in Oka-Akoko, built the Ikare Modern Civic Center, and facilitated the construction of 28 lock-up shops, enhancing connectivity, commerce, and community engagement.

Education and Opportunities: Distributed free JAMB forms, sponsored a bill for the establishment of the ICT University in Ikare-Akoko, and facilitated federal job recruitments and scholarships for constituents.

Renewable Energy: Implemented the Operation Light Up Ondo North initiative, providing solar panels to light up towns and villages, including Adekunle Ajasin University.

Facilitation of Recruitment Opportunities: Facilitating and securing federal jobs for constituents in NNPC, Police, Nigerian Army, Rural Electrification Agency and also working to get appointments for the youths in the ongoing Customs and Airforce recruitment.

Scholarships and bursaries to over 1000 tertiary students.

Empowering Small Businesses: Through the skill acquisition programs and provision of lock-up shops, he has laid the groundwork for entrepreneurship to flourish within the district.

Strengthening Youth Engagement: By bridging the gap between education, technology, and employment, he is equipping youths with the tools necessary to thrive in the modern economy.

Senator Ipinsagba’s commitment to accountability and efficiency in national projects, as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Procurement, ensures the equitable allocation of resources to Ondo North Senatorial District and Ondo State at large.
