Senator Fadeyi Reveals Why He Has Executed 105 Constituency Projects in Just 18-Month

Abuja (Core Reporters) Senator Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi (Osun Central) has made a significant impact in Osun Central Senatorial District, executing 105 constituency projects within 18 months of his inauguration. His motivation stems from his family name and legacy, driven by the desire to spread his family’s name and uphold the legacy laid by his parents ¹.
In this interview with selected journalists on Tuesday March 18, 2025, in his office in Abuja Senator Fadeyi has not only revealed the motivation behind his penchant for people’s oriented projects, but willing to do more for his constituents.
However, Some of his notable achievements within the last 18-month in office include:
Infrastructure Development: He facilitated the construction and rehabilitation of 10 km of roads across four local government areas, improving connectivity and local economies.
Rural Electrification: He Installed a 500kva transformer at the Federal University Teaching Hospital in Ila-Orangun and completed a substation electricity project (120MVA, 60x60kva) serving seven local governments.
Healthcare: He has constructed three Mother and Child Centers in Ila Orangun, Iragbiji, and Ikirun, transforming maternal and child healthcare.
Water Supply: He also, Installed 30 solar-powered boreholes in 30 separate communities, providing potable water.
Education: In his quest for development in his Senatorial District andbOsun state in general, he has renovated 10 classroom blocks, instituted a N50 million annual bursary award for 1,560 students, and sponsored 20 Osun indigents for advanced training in China.
Agriculture and Energy: He distributed farm tricycles, tractors, and fertilizer, graded and upgraded rural farm roads, and installed solar-powered streetlights and transformers.
Senator Fadeyi’s commitment to his constituents and his passion for improving their quality of life are evident in his numerous projects and initiatives.
