Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate voted at his Amatutu ward 2 , in the Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State at about 11.36am on Saturday.
Speaking shortly after voting, Obi said he would not work with any of the opposing presidential candidates that would win.
The major contenders in the presidential race are Alhaji Ahmed Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP)
Asked if he would be willing to work with the opposition if he loses, Obi said, “No, it won’t come to that, but I am not looking for job, I am a very contented person.
“I want to show compassion. I want to help pull people out of poverty.”
Obi said God made him governor of Anambra State and could also make him the president of Nigeria.
