Ambassador Samson Uchenna Charles, Labour Party presidential hopefull
The presidential aspirant of the Labour Party, Honourable Samson Uchenna Charles has vowed to make Nigeria an industrial and agricultural terminus of the world if elected president in 2023.
Hon. Charles, while felicitating with Christians I Nigeria on Easter Celebration, which marked the resurrection of Jesus Christ, admonished them to emulate Christ on the virtues he displayed as symbol of love for the salvation of humanity. He prayed for peace and unity as Christ did in his days.
On his presidential ambitions, the presidential aspirant under the Labour Party stated that if elected as president of Nigeria, he promised to rebuild Nigeria, change the decades of negative of fear due to banditry, insurgency unemployment and poverty that has ravaged the population. He revealed that as president, he will make Nigeria an industrious nation that will not only have its own industries but a terminus where other international industries will come to invest and stay.
This will be made easy by fully ensuring that energy is fully restored, as power outages will be at zero point to sustain the industrialization and Agro- mechanization that will be put in place.Hon. Samson said the approach will take care of unemployment ,?scarcity of food and its shortage, and most germane the hydra-headed insecurity that is engulfing the country’s peace. Ambassador Sampson, said Labour Party is the best alternative answer to restore the depleted dignity of the country in all its ramifications. .In a telephone discussion with National Detective Magazine (NDM),he said , his professional experience, in governance and entrepreneurship, is the confidence as he is endowed to rebuild Nigeria to a greater glory and not to its “former glory” as most presidential aspirants always said. “ No one gives glory to failure or backwardness, we pray that the future should be better than the past, that is my dream and focus , believing that Nigerians will give the Labour Party their mandate come 2023 to re-engineer the ”. He said.
“The place of Nigeria internationally within the committee of states will be revitalized with unique diplomatic engagements that will improve our image as the numero- uno in Africa” the Labour Party Leader and presidential candidate said.Samson Charles, the career entrepreneur and politician averred that he would bring his public service experience acquired during the era of president Olusegun Obasanjo, “Nigerians will have course to smile when I take over leadership of the country under the banner of the Labour Party , the realms of power from APC government, I will bring my national and global experience on leadership to bear” he vouched.
“ Nigeria with its abundant resources cannot and shall not be called a failed nation. If elected president, I will properly harness all the resources of this great country to the advantage and benefit of all”Speaking on diversification of the economy, he said, “reliance on oil alone, is a burden on our economy, with the arable lands across the country and mineral resources of commercial quantities available, our economy can be better if well managed,?Nigeria can compete with most of the advanced economies of the world” The erudite Aspirant, stated further that he has the capability to achieve his dream for Nigeria, if elected president.
