Cross RiverJournalists Congratulates Lt. Gen. Undiandeye on His promotion, Reappointment as CDI
Cross River state journalists in Abuja under the aegis of Cross River Journalist Forum (CROSSJOF) have congratulated Lieutenant General Emmanuel Akomaye Parker Undiandeye on his recent promotion and his reappointment as the nation’s Chief of Defence Intelligence.
This was contained in a press statement signed by its chairman, Mrs Francisca Ogar and the secretary Mr. Raphael Ekpang, respectively.
Recall that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had last week sacked Military Service Chiefs and appointed new ones. Lieutenant General Undiandeye was the only one reappointed and was also decorated with his new rank on Thursday, October 30, 2025 by the Commander In-Chief of the Nigerian Armforces, Tinubu.
The statement reads in parts, “The Cross River Journalist Forum (CROSSJOF) heartily congratulates Lieutenant General Emmanuel Akomaye Parker Undiandeye on his promotion to the rank of Lieutenant General and his reappointment as Chief of Defence Intelligence. This well-deserved development is a testament to your outstanding performance and selfless service to the nation over the past three decades.
“We are elated that such a distinguished honor is being retained in our state, reflecting your embodiment of the Cross River spirit of hard work, integrity, exemplary service, discipline, and unwavering dedication to the nation. Your sterling qualities, demonstrated through strategic vision and unrelenting commitment to excellence, will serve as a reference point for young persons not just in the military but in all areas of endeavor.
“We are confident that President Bola Tinubu Ahmed singled you out for this well-deserved promotion and continued service based on your track record of excellence and patriotism.
