Senate Committee summons Galaxy backbone Ltd to appear before it or face arrest
Abuja (Core Reporters) The senate on Thursday summoned Galaxy Backbone Limited to appear before its committee on Federal Character and Intergovernmental Affairs on a yet to be fix date or face possible arrest.
The Chairman of the committee, Senator Allwell Onyesoh representing Rivers East in the 10th senate disclosed this on Thursday in Abuja, saying that Galaxy has turned down the senate invitation four consecutive times. He directed the Clerk of the committee to write and summon them to appear before it as soon as possible. .
However, the committee members were furious about the attitude of the management of Galaxy after they failed to honour their invitation four times. All members were in agreement that Galaxy should be summoned and if fail to appear before it again a warrant of arrest should be issued against them.
Core Reporters report that the committee Chairman added that if Galaxy fail to honour this last invitation making it the fifth time, the committee will have no option than to issue a warrant of arrest on them.
