Asaba (Core Reporters) A group under the auspices of Virtuous Women of Delta, (VWD) have demanded that the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio tender an unreserved apology to Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan over his alleged sexual harassment on her.

The group gave the demandmade in a statement issued and signed by its Coordinator, Deaconess, Eguolo Oghenekevwe late on Tuesday declaring that:

The statement reads in parts, “We have patiently watched how the Senate President has been dragging our wife through the mud which in our tradition it’s considered sacrilegious and attracts heavy sanctions.

“The fact that he walked out on our wife from a public place alone is enough for us to match down at the National Assembly naked.

“If within the next 14 days Akpabio fails to tender an unreserved apology we may forced to visit the National Assembly to register our anger.

“Akpabio had once used words that are unprintable in the first place mentioning night club when he knows Natasha is married to a full fledged Delta man.

“He apologized when he used such sacrilegious words like night club on our beloved wife.

“Our men are lions; they do not tolerate such desecration particularly when a married woman is involved.

“We are politely asking the Senate President to apologize or face our wrath within the next 14 days if an unreserved apology is not tendered.

“Akpabio is from our geopolitical zone so he knows that our traditions and culture cannot be swept under the carpet,” the statement concluded.
