In our journey toward national growth and improvement, it is essential that we consciously shape the narratives we promote and share. This week, let us embark on a transformative journey—one that prioritizes strength, confidence, and a positive national image over the sensationalism of failure and criminality. It is time to adjust our media habits and commit to fostering a culture of positivity and hope.

For too long, our media landscape has inadvertently given free publicity to failure, incompetence, and criminal behavior. By amplifying every negative story—every episode of evil and despair—we not only undermine the efforts of those striving for progress but also weaken our collective resolve. When we broadcast government failures without balance or context, we trivialize the hard work and resilience shown by many in the face of adversity. In many instances, we seem to inadvertently boost the profile of criminals, treating every bandit’s escapade as a triumph while neglecting the commendable work of our security forces.

This cycle of negativity must end. It is crucial that we recalibrate our focus, showcasing success stories, innovations, and acts of bravery instead. Instead of sharing content that glorifies criminality, we should promote the achievements of our armed forces, law enforcement, and community leaders working tirelessly to restore peace and security. Every time we share compromising footage or disturbing narratives, we risk emboldening the very forces we wish to diminish.

This week, I invite each of you to make a commitment. Let’s start by deliberately deleting any content that highlights criminal successes or elevates the notoriety of bandits. If there is a need to discuss such matters, let it be strictly within circles aiming to enhance security strategies—not for naysayers intent on perpetuating negativity. We must be vigilant gatekeepers of the information we share.

On this upcoming Monday, we declare a new era of moderation in our media engagement. It’s time to set a precedent: let’s prioritize stories of perseverance, innovation, and community solidarity. Together, we can work towards changing the narrative surrounding security and community resilience. By making evil unpopular and demotivating, we foster an environment where courage and success stories can thrive.

As we embark on this journey, let’s remember that the narratives we create shape our society. It is our collective responsibility to encourage a culture of hope and progress. By shifting our focus, we can foster peace, strengthen our communities, and double our confidence in overcoming challenges. Together, we can emerge from this cycle of negativity, paving the way for a brighter, more secure future for all.
