The governor of Cross River State, Senator Prince Bassey Otu on Wednesday made appointment into three agencies of the state government.
The agencies include, Calabar Urban Development Authority (CUDA) to be headed by Chief Ayi Etim Effiong as the Executive Secretary, while other directors include; Gabriel Okon Etim-Director of environmental health, Mrs Antigha Williams-Director of Maintenance, Eastern Edet Ekpenyong-Director of Waste Management and Francis Cobham+Director of Open Space and Development.
The governor also appointed nine persons into Scrap Metal Regulatory Agency (SMRA). They are; Capt Joseph Offion (Director General), Pastor Donald Offion (Secretary) while seven others are members: Babajide Emmanuel, Tete Anam, Emmanuel Umo Edet, Michael Eze, Adejomobi M. Adegboyezu, Nicholas Nyamagol and Ogbede W. Ogbesu.
And members of the Cross River State Advertising Agency (CRSAA) include, Ubong Sam (Director General), Bajie James Okukwe, Hon. Asuquo Atop and Harrison Bassey as directors.
However, a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Emmanuel Ogbeche states that the appointments take effect from Wednesday, September 6, 2023.
