The National President, Miyetti Allah Kautal Hotel ,a Fulani socio cultural association of Nigeria,Alhaji Bello Bodejo have tasked the Nasarawa State chapter on the need to prioritizing peace and unity as their focal point as they lead their members in the state
Alhaji Dr, Bello Bodejo gave the charge on Friday in his office at Karshi,karu local government area,while issuing out appointment letters to the newly elected principal officers of the state chapter.
He cautioned the new officers against taking their appointment for granted by wanting to use it to oppressed their subjects
He saiid “You should note that as leaders,you are to serve,be good care givers and those shall always stand for the truth.
” Your appointment today is with a great sense of responsibility reposed on you,therefore you are ambassadors of peace in any society that you finds yourself, eschew bitterness and work hard to maintain law and other not only with us as Fulani but among other tribes ” He said.
The constituted state executive of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore Socio Cultural Association of Nigeria,is coming on the heels of a report by Caretaker Committee,that was set up by the National President on 9thAugust 2022,aim at electing officials that will pilot the affairs of the association in the state.
According to Halilu D .Yahaya,the outgoing acting chairman of the association,”the committee was set up to mediate ,interact and possibly engaged in series of discussions with the critical stakeholders and all interested applicants,vying for the available elective positions.
“It is with gratitude to Allah and absolute humility that the caretaker committee has successfully accomplished it’s assignment and uninamously nominated and constituted the leadership of the association in Nasarawa State ” He submitted.
Those that will be piloting the affairs of the association as state EXCOs are Ardo Lawal Doro.Chairman,Akajo Gyara,deputy, Honourable Jafar M.Liman , secretary general,Ardo Ibrahim Yau,Deputy chairman 11 among Twenty others .
Responding, the newly elected state chairman,Ardo Lawal Dino, promised to work hard and adhered strictly by the laid down rules of the association.
He said he will ensured that the mandate and trust given to them will be followed ,as peace and unity which the national president emphasis upon fr the general good and coexistence between the Fulani and other tribe especially the TIVs will be sought after by way of meeting other tribal leaders to cement whatever broken relationship that had existed.
