TCN’s Lagos Region, led by General Manager (Transmission) Engr. Mojeed Akintola, held a strategic meeting with the Lagos State Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the FGN Power Company, and other key stakeholders on January 19, 2026, to commence the Ibeju-Lekki Power System Improvement Project.

The meeting, held at the Conference Room of the Lagos State Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, was chaired by the Honourable Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Mr. Biodun Ogunleye.

According to TCN’s General Manager of Public Affairs, Mrs. Ndidi Mbah, discussions focused on project timelines, stakeholder coordination, and strategies for addressing potential implementation challenges to ensure timely delivery of the project and improved power supply in the Ibeju-Lekki axis.
