Concern with the recent onslaught of kidnappers and bandits within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and it’s environs, the Senior Pastor of Life Hope Salvation Ministry International, prophet Denis Mongba has said that the days of Kidnappers and bandits in FCT are over.
Mongba, who disclosed this to Core Reporters on Thursday said, God has answered FCT residents’ prayers concerning activities of Kidnappers and bandits within the capital city and it’s environs, saying that they will be arrested very soon.
Recall that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barrister Nyesom Wike.had summoned an emergency closed-door meeting with heads of security agencies in the FCT, as well as chairmen of the six Area Councils.
Wike, however, assured residents of the FCT that there is no need to panic, adding that he and other security agencies were not sleeping, and were aware of the security challenges in the territory.
Further recall that public outcry had trailed reports of the deaths of Nabeeha Al-Kadriyar, who was kidnapped along with 22 others in the Bwari Area of the FCT, and 13-year-old Folasade Ariyo, who was kidnapped alongside eleven others, among whom were three of her siblings, and their mother at the Sagwari Estate Layout, in Dutse-Alhaji Area of Abuja.
As a result of this, the Senator Ireti Kingibe, representing the FCT at the National Assembly, had urged the Federal Government to declare a State of emergency on Insecurity in the capital city.
According to Mongba, “I saw kidnappers been arrested along Kubwa expressway and Gwagwalada axis. Security agencies will arrest them very soon, their time is up.”
