Taraba: Senator Bwacha reacts as court nullifies his APC governorship primaries victory

Senator Emmanuel Bwacha in reaction to a federal high court judgement which nullified his governorship primaries election victory and ordered a fresh primaries with 14 days said he is not afraid of another primaries.

It will be recalled a Federal High Court sitting in Jalingo earlier onn Tuesday has nullified the Taraba governorship primary election that produced Emmanuel Bwacha as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the 2023 election.

David Kente, an aggrieved aspirant, had dragged the party and its candidate to court over the recognition of Bwacha as the candidate of the party.

Meanwhile, while  ruling, the presiding Judge, Justice Simon Amobeda, ordered that a fresh primary election be conducted within 14 days.

The court also ordered Bwacha to stop parading himself as the governorship candidate of the APC 

However, Senator Bwacha furher stated that his team of lawyers were still studying the court judgement, saying that at the appropriate time the will make their decision known.
