The incoming Chapter Chairman, Hon. Chief James Achu of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Boki Chapter, has demonstrated strong and inclusive leadership by warmly receiving a large number of defectors from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) into the party.

The event marks a significant boost to the chapter’s political strength and reflects growing confidence in the ADC as a credible alternative for good governance.

In his address, Achu commended the courage of the new members for taking a bold step to align with a party committed to transparency, accountability, and people-centered development. He assured them of equal opportunities, full integration, and a supportive environment to contribute meaningfully to the party’s vision.

Speaking on behalf of the defectors, Mr. Emmanuel Achuka, expressed dissatisfaction with their former parties, citing a lack of internal democracy and ineffective leadership. They affirmed their belief in the ADC’s ideology and pledged loyalty and commitment to advancing the party’s goals at all levels.

The reception ceremony ended on a note of unity and renewed determination, as party members celebrated the expansion of their ranks and looked forward to building a stronger and more formidable ADC ahead of future political engagements.
