Associates ready to exposed family contractors allegedly used by Gov. Mohammed to siphon state treasury

The immediate past Chairman of Wikki Tourist Football Club of Bauchi, Hon. Awalu Babajda is reportedly crying over an alleged over N69m indebtedness by the Senator Bala Muhammed led Bauchi state government, corereporters report
Corereporters gathered exclusively that Awalu used his personal money and loan from his associates to finance the state own club, Wikki Tourist with the understanding that the money will be refunded as soon as possible, but till date despite all the entreaties been made by Hon. Awalu and his associates to the governor have fallen on deaf ears.
It was gathered that while Awalu is still employing diplomacy, patriotism and loyalty to the state, his associates whom some are lawmakers within the state assembly and others in the corridor of powers in the state are spurring for a war.
One of the associates, a lawmaker said, “In a shortest possible time if the governor does not pay us our money we would be left with no option than first; expose all the family and friends’ contractors he has been using to siphon our state treasury.”
According to the lawmaker, the state government is owing workers salary and has also failed to pay students’ scholarship in the state, stressing that the government could not even pay West African Examination Council (WAEC) and National Examination Council (NECO)’s fee For Bauchi students as it was the tradition he met.
Corereporters also gathered that Awalu and his associates are also thinking of another option of taking governor Mohammed to the League Management Company (LMC)’s Court of Arbitration and the regular court of laws in the country.
