Abuja (Core Reporters) The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has strongly condemned the gruesome killing of some travellers along Uromi Road in Edo State.

Director General of the Agency, Mallam Lanre Issa Onilu said mob action remain unlawful, inhumane, and goes against the principles of justice and due process.

NOA extended it deepest condolences to the families of the victims and share in their grief during this difficult time.

The DG said, “Every Nigerian, regardless of background or location, deserves the right to a fair trial and protection under the law.

He noted that the Agency feels confident that security Agencies will rise to the occasion especially as President Bola Tinubu has directed full investigation and ensure that those responsible for this heinous act are brought to justice.

The DG said “Real Nigerians are known for their unity, respect for human rights, and adherence to the rule of law. Whenever there are suspicions of crime, citizens should report to the appropriate security agencies rather than resorting to extrajudicial actions.

“The NOA remains committed to promoting peace, unity, and the values that define us as a nation. Let us work together to uphold justice and safeguard the sanctity of human life.” He said
