The outgone players’ representative at the Nigerian Basketball Federation (NBBF”, Ejike Ugboaja has formally handed over to his predecessor Stanley Gumut

This was done shortly after the NBBF election held at the Package A of the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Monday.

Ejike while handing over charged Gumut to work hard to represent the players that sent him to the NBBF, adding that the last administration under the leadership of Musa Kida worked below the expectations of the players, the reason he must work with the elected president Igoche Mark to restore the confidence of the players.

“I am happy today to hand over to you believing that you will represent the players well at the new board. I must tell you that, during the last administration we disappointed the players the main actors because of the leader we had, but now with Igoche Mark I know you guys will do well,” Ejike said.

However, Stanley Gumut, assured that he was going to the NBBF to make sure the players are giving the best treatment, adding that with Igoche Mark as the President there is nothing the players should worry about.

He noted that the Mark D Ball championship put together by Mark is a sign to all the players that better things are about to come to thy  nation’s basketball
