National Youth Dialogue on Tax Reforms Holds On Monday in Abuja
Abuja (Core Reporters) Project SPRINT in partnership with House of Representative Committee on Youth in Parliament are set to organise a one-day national youth dialogue on tax reforms. The dialogue will hold at the National Assembly complex. This, to increased awareness and understanding of tax reforms among young people.
A statement signed by the Country Director of Project SPRINT, Mr. Israel James and made available to Core Reporters on Tuesday said the objectives of the dialogue on the tax reform is to provide a platform for young people to contribute to the tax reform conversation,
Also, to Identify key areas for reform and propose recommendations to policymakers and foster collaboration and partnership among stakeholders to drive tax reforms’ efforts.
James noted that their aim is to bring together key stakeholders across various youth groups to discuss and shape the future of tax reforms in Nigeria. “The project is partnered with several organizations to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive approach.”
According to him, “The expected outcomes of the dialogue include: A comprehensive report on the key findings and recommendations from the dialogue. An increased awareness and understanding of tax reforms among young people
“To strengthened partnership among stakeholders to drive tax reform efforts, and a clear roadmap for implementing tax reforms in Nigeria,” hebsaid.
Core Reporters report that Hon. Olamijunwolo Ayodeji Alao-Akala is the chairman House of Representative Committee on Youth in Parliament and his committee is strongly in partnership with Project SPRINT to advance the cause of Nigerian‘s youths as it concern tax reforms
