Where on Earth is President Tinubu?

By Ibrahim Garba, Abuja
This Young Girl Murja Kunya has been undergoing an emotional trauma ever since her arrest by the local Hisba Guard on allegations of indecent expression via a Social Media Platform.
Her freedom of speech and freedom of expression as enshrined  under the Federal Law as a citizen has been violated leaving her with no option because she did not belong to the nouveau de riche.
She has become an object of Cyber Bullying and oppression by some uneducated folks lacking in knowledge claiming she is misleading young girls into Armageddon.
However, that era of pornography is here with us and what should be the fate of Big Brother Naija participants deeply rewarded with hundreds of Millions of Naira for dancing and walking almost half naked on TV, watched by the majority armed with the inscriptions 18+.
What now is the difference between expressing an idea on Tiktok and the physical show of cleavages by the children of the rich riding around town in expensive vehicles and hanging out in expensive joints smoking expensive Shisha.
The irony of it all is most young people and adults watch in amazement females with visible attributes showing all their natural endowments  when appearing in public and coming back home with swollen faces claiming their wives are not good enough, and when angry file for divorce. Females with bold expressions appearing in home videos and in public arena are cashing out from the men for exposing their cleavages. This is real and we know it.
So, before you press charges on the young lady, let the Hisba Guard ban all Shisha joints and night clubs in Kano, ban female driving, ban hosting of wedding parties, ban the home videos, institute dress codes on campuses and ensure everyone operate fully under the local laws, then you can dump her in jail for violation. I doubt if its possible now.
Murja Kunya should be freed and compensated for violating her rights as a Nigerian under the Nigerian Laws immediately. She shouldn’t be used as a scapegoat simply because she doesn’t belong to the rich uper class. She is female expressing herself in her own ways.
Ladies are gifted. Whenever they go all out, they drape themselves in timeless jewelries, powerful sunglasses, slipping into status staple shoes, expensive lip liners and costly handbags. Wearing smaller shoes and keeping their look well -groomed and classy are major attributes of any lady young or old. You must allow them express themselves or you end up detonating the anger in them. So please stay off their lane Hisba Guard.
Free her immediately and let her be, because we are loosing the War on what you chose to call indecent appearance, it is the new fad and the likes of Rahama Sadau is on her way to prosperity attending big events and stealing the shows making headlines.
Again Hisba, breaking beer bottles is old fashion,  and pressing charges on  young people for self expression is not a solution to the widespread juvenile deliquency. It never solve a problem. Rather you are delaying the evil days because there is no one size fits all in this. People have choices and we are in a plural society.
Hisba Guard, its time to innovate and join the digital era and follow the process, because technology is moving at 1000 kilometre per hour across the world now. Teach manners and social customs to the nouveau de riche and use same theatres they patronize to reach out to them on dangers of abuse and use of diluted drinks.
A stich in time they say saves nine.
