The League Management Company (LMC) has finally confirmed the final table for the 2019/2020 Nigerian Professional Football League season.
LMC, having used the Point Per Game (PPG) methodology confirmed Plateau United as the winners of the 2019/20 season which ended abruptly in week 25, courtesy of the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
Meanwhile, Enyimba FC ended up as the runners up while Rivers United ended third on the table. By this development, Plateau United and Enyimba FC will be the Nigeria representatives to CAF Champions league while, Rivers United that came third on the table and the Aiteo defending champions, Kano Pillars will represent the country in CAF Confederation Cup.
Meanwhile, this online News Paper had already published on July 5, 2020 that the aforementioned clubs were already penciled down as the nation representatives to CAF Champions league and Confederation Cup in that order.
