Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, still has a lot to offer Nigeria in the area of leadership and nation-building, the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has said.

In a press statement signed by the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, to the Deputy President of the Senate, Yomi Odunuga,  Senator Omo-Agege said the antecedents of the former Anambra State Governor and Senator are worthy testimonies to his position.

In a goodwill message he personally signed to mark Ngige’s 68th birthday, Omo-Agege applauded the Minister for his services to fatherland.

Omo-Agege pointed out that all those assigned leadership responsibilities under the APC-led Federal Government are only being given opportunities to renew their populist commitments in view of the ruling party’s people-centred mantra.

“At 68, Onwa Dr. Chris Ngige’s achievements include a remarkable tenure as Governor of Anambra State and as a Minister; he has been called to do much more

“He is known to his people as Onwanaetiliom of Alor, Ogbuhereuzo 1 of Isseke ancient Kingdom in Anambra State, Chinagorom of Aba,  Akaekpuchionwa of Igbere, Abia State, Dikediohamma of Ukwuaba Orlu in Imo State, Okaaomee of Ituku Ozalla in Enugu State and as Okaaomee of Okpanam, Delta Stat

“All these are honours that attest to his capacity to do more.

“I heartily felicitate with Dr. Ngige as he celebrates his 68th birthday and I wish him many more productive years ahead,” he stated.
