The Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) has lauded Nigerian Youths for coming together to develop a Mobile Application for Good Governance and Youth Advancement.
Speaking to a delegation of leaders of youth- based Civil Society organisations who were at the Commission Headquarters under the auspices of Youth And Media Network Organization(YOMEN) to pay her a congratulatory visit, Secretary of the Commission, Mrs Rose Omoa Oriaran- Anthony remarked that “the App, YOMENCloud will go a long way in promoting Voter Education among Nigerian youths, who įin turn should be able to disseminate what lessons they picked up, to other members of their communities.
Earlier in his remarks, the leader of the delegation, Eld. Amb. Emenike N. Eme, stated that the App, YOMEN Cloud, which was primarily developed to promote their grassroots voter education and mobilisation project, “READY TO VOTE,” will in addition provide valuable opportunities for every political Party to publicise its activities among the youths in particular and voters in general, while presenting clear analysis of issues that will help voters vote wisely and protect their votes effectively.
