The Federal lawmakers from Ondo State, have threatened to shut down oli installations from the state if the nominee from the state, Gbenga Odegba is not step down by the president.
Senator Nicholas Tofomowo, representing Ondo South while addressing the press on Thursday in Abuja said, they (federal lawmakers) have resolved that the nominee of Odegba must not fly because it is against the NDDC act which says that the board member must be an indigene of the oíl producing area and not just a state as it is in his case.
He said that Odegba is from Owo, and Owo is not an oil producing area in Ondo.
