FG Announces Shehu, Ramat As MD FMC Kafanchan, Orthopedic Hospital Hawul
Abuja (Core Reporters) The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of Health & Social Welfare has appointed Dr. Haruna Abubakar Shehu, Medical Director, Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Kafanchan, Kaduna State and, Dr. Ali Mohammed Ramat Medical Director, National Orthopaedic Hospital Azare, Hawul, Borno State.
This is in line with its commitment to improving access to quality healthcare services. The new Medical Directors are expected to exhibit high levels of dedication as expected by the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The Honourable Minister of State for Health & Social Welfare Dr. Iziaq Adekunle Salako in a brief ceremony urged the two appointees to charge forward with unwavering dedication and, determination towards projecting the agenda of Mr. President in the health sector. Relate very well with all the staheholders in the community, because they are owners of those facilities.
Dr. Salako said, “These are new hospitals, so obviously you will face some teething problems: and Kafanchan is very very special to Mr. President because of his keen interest in that part of Kaduna State. You know he has also established a Federal University in that Senatorial district in view of his special interest.
“Relate very well with all the staheholders in the community, they are the owners of those facilities, so let us relate very well with them.
“Of course, you should also relate very well with the Ministry through the Hospital Services Department. So, being the Chief Medical Director of a new facility, which could be demanding, I believed you are up to the task. My prayer is that you will succeed in every ramifications”, Dr. Salako admonished.
