Hackers in Nigeria despite security agencies’ advancement in tracking online criminals have continued to carry out their nefarious activities unabated, Core Reporters investigation showed.

Core Reporters investigation revealed the account details hackers are mostly using to defraud their unsuspected victims.

The account name is Bright chimezie, account number is 1891765384 and the bank is Access Bank.

Some few weeks back, this element hacked into our colleague’s phone number and started sending messages to everyone in his contact including this reporter.

Below is the conversation between the Hacker and this reporter:

Hacker: “Good evening, Please I need a little favor from you it’s very urgent

CR: Good evening Barr.

Hacker: How are you doing? Please I need a little help from you

CR: Okay, like what?

Hacker: Am trying to send some money to someone is not going through can you help me to send it I will send it back to you 10:am tomorrow

CR: Okay, how much?

Hacker: N300, 000

CR: Let me have your account details.

Hacker: Bright chimezie, 1891765384 Access bank.

Hacker: Send me the receipt once you have done the transfer

CR: No problem

Hacker: I am waiting

CR: It’s okay.

This was how our reporter was able to follow-up with the hacker to unearth their Modi Operandi
