Pillars Fc technical adviser Salisu Yusuf in a post-match conference said he is confident with this result sai masu gida would continue to dominate pace in the league, adding that the players are beginning to understand their philosophy
“I am happy today (Sunday) because the way the players played the game shows that it is an indication that they have started understanding the philosophy we are teaching them.
“Since our match in Katsina last Thursday I learned that the boys are understanding our program and ready to play,” coach Salisu said.
He explained that despite that he is going to be away from the team for a national assignment with the Super Eagles ahead of the nations’ cup he believes his assistants would continue from where he stopped.
Meanwhile, Kano Pillars Fc winger Kokoette Udoh was voted as Man of the match by members of Sports journalists that covered the match.
In his reaction, Udoh expressed appreciation to the fans for their unflinching support to the team. He added that though he got the winning goals but described the victory as a collective effort of both players and the technical crew of the team.
