AA Zaura:The man with a Lion Heart

Abuja (Core Reporters) Do you know that Horses, Elephants, Zebras and Cows Sleep While Standing? Yes. They were wired that way.
Do you also know that Sharks are the only animals that can never get sick? They are immune to every type of disease including cancer. Yes.
I was shocked to hear a high profile politician confessed that all the travails AA Zaura went through during his trials at the EFCC was a mere sting operation to disqualify him from contesting because of the strength and capacity he possess at that time he made a foray into politics.
He came in with a financial war chest and outspent all others in welfare and charity. He dominated the headlines. He identifies with the man and woman on the street been abandoned to their fate. He was a destiny helper. But that alone would not win elections.
Politicians win by character assassination, treachery, sabotage, blackmail, brigandage, ballot box snatching, hate speech, ethnic bigotry, all in a bid to defame a Shining Star who would not play by the rules. So if you must align then wear these robes or yoù are considered an illegal entrant.
The question is how long can these last? When would people of integrity dominate the political space in Nigeria.
AA Zaura was the North Star; he was that young man who abhor poverty, align with those millions struggling to survive. He was the Shark that got that natural immunity. He was likened to the Elephant, the bigger animals that sleep while standing in adherence to nature. But that alone cost him his ambition?
But it is my believe those prayers and the deliberate responses from the multiple lives he touched when they all echo AMIN, shall resonate with him in all his affairs. He will surely rise again.
I wrote this piece because I have searched around and havent found someone so meeky and kind hearted like him.
One day he will see his dream fulfilled to serve mankind in a more dignified role again. Remember, until you are broken, you cannot be fixed.
