The founder and Senior Pastor of Life Hope Salvation Ministry International (aka The Lion Family Assembly), Prophet Denis Mongba in this interview with Core Reporters shared his experience on the journey so far as the church mark it 11-year anniversary on Saturday May 20, 2023. The Ogoja born prophet of God has since joined the league of men of God who prophecies to their congregations on issues around their lives and the nation at large and it come to pass One thing is clear about prophet Mongba, almost all the prophecies he had released out previously have come to past likewise, the 2023 prophecies are already falling in places including the 2023 Nigeria general elections and the intervention of other nations on Ukraine He spoke on the faithfulness of God upon the church, the prospect and challenges therein. He also spoke about the May 29, 2023 day for the inauguration of the incoming President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and sundry.

As the founder and off-course Senior Pastor of the Life Hope Salvation Ministry International ( aka The Lion Family Assembly), how is the journey so far.
Thanks so much, it’s a privilege to answer this question today. when you talk of Ministry it is all about a word from God. God gave me a word, and in 2010 it became clear when I was coming out from a crusade ground in Cross River State I was inside a car and God showed me the name of this ministry in a truancy, since that time my life has never remain the same. We started the church on the 20th May 2012 and the very first day we were opening the church with a crusade, they brought a young mad man who was reading medicine in the university and when I prayed for him, I was shock he got healing instantly. God set him free from the captivity of madness and the Lord said to me this ministry is the apostolic and prophetic one-it will set the captives free, raise the dead and heal the sicks and since then we have being seeing all manner of miracles, signs and wonders here.
Some of the miracles we’ve seen here, the blinds received their sights, as at last week 16 dead were raised back to life, Cancer patients were healed, 20-year-old broken marriage restored, many years of barrenness cancelled, liberation from witchcraft attacks, among others.
Despites what the Lord is doing here, it’s has not also been easy because of the satanic ministries who are after the children of God, most of them have been fighting, sometimes you see the church filled with members another time the church is empty. You prophesied to people and God blessed them with millions of naira and the next thing they’ll just leave the church for another without coming back to testify or even to appreciate him. Honestly, It has not been that rossy at all. Also, when it comes to battles and attacks, it has always been the grace of God all the way. Let me give you an instance, the very day we were to start this church (ie) before the May 20, 2012 we finally started, I was attacked and I found myself at the Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital. So, the enemies knew what God was about to do with the ministry so, they attack. Truly the journey hasn’t been easy, but the grace of God has been sufficient to us. They have been miracles, signs and wonders here, but the enemies have also being fighting hard to bring us down but because the ministry has the backing of God we are wagging stronger day by day. God has been giving us victory upon victory and has been faithful to us. There is no Miracles we’ve not recorded here, even this land the church is presently sited, I had nothing when we found it. The land was given to me by a Moslem for six million naira and he said to me whatever you have and whenever you have the money give it to me, that is how we were able to pay instalmentaly until we paid all without stress or pressure from the seller.There is no day we come here and we don’t hear all manner of testimonies. In all, the journey indeed has been great despite the attacks from the enemies and also challenges.
Some of your members said most time they come to the alter and pray on their own and receive answers to their prayers. What is your take on that.
Yeah! It’s about the backing of God, it’s about the covenant of God when he gave me the ministry. Because God is the one in charge, I am not behind any miracle, so they don’t have to meet me before getting solution from God. According to Psalm 107: 20 the bible says he sent his word and his word heals and deliver you, so, I just have to send the word, sometimes I will say there is someone here with any kind of sickness or affliction and before you know it’s gone and testimonies follow immediately, this is because its the battle of God and not mind. It must not be me, any Ministry God is involve and is in the alter anything can happen even without the Pastor because we are just the vessels, instruments God uses to reach out to his people.
Sometimes when people come to the church they will just sit on my chair and get healings, why some climb the Alter, pray and get healings – I remembered sometimes when we had our monthly first Friday vigil and on Saturday morning one Moslem woman had operation in her womb and suddenly began to cough and why she was coughing the place they stich her began to open and she was dying gradually, and suddenly she remembered that somebody had invited her to our church, so she came on Saturday morning after the vigil and met no one except the security guard and pleaded to be allowed to just pray at the alter. Meanwhile, at a point during the vigil I was testing and drank a bottle water and left half of it at the alter unknown to me that God wanted to use it for someone’s healing, so when she climbed the alter in the morning she saw the water and she said to herself it must be the Pastor that took part of the water and she drank the remaining and left, behold that is how she got her healing without me or any other pastors in the church to pray for her. What God is doing here is beyond man, he is demonstrating his faithfulness in this church and to show that he is truly a covenant keeping God.
You did prophesied during the crossover night (December 31, 2022) that the result of Nigeria 2023 presidential election would not be acceptable by the majority of Nigerians, are you surprise of what is happening now.
Yeah! When you go back to our 2023 prophecies, we are not against anybody or government, and I don’t even know the president -elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu in person because I am not a politician but we are just saying what God is saying, because in the realm of the spirit our eyes are open to see certain things and then when God gives a prophecy that prophecy may have conditions; this is what would happen or if they pray this is what will happen. I saw agitations, I saw protests and I saw the president- elect not happy so, when I enquired the Lord said it’s about the election, so I still stand by our prophecies that the result of the election was going to be manipulated.I saw three candidates, but two leading candidates were actually saying there were manipulations in the election results. In our crossover prophecy i said they were going to manipulate the result to favour one tribe, but there is a perfect and permissive will of God. God is the owner of heaven and earth.If God is permit or want the president -elect to be there, so be it, but if not the will of God will be done because God controls this nation, the earth belongs to him. If you go through those prophecies I said Tinubu and those around him need to pray because I saw his enemies coming for his soul after the election, inauguration. That man needs prayers. When these things started happening now, I am not surprise because I saw it coming on the crossover night. You know we are very careful when it come to government because we are not politicians and we don’t want to favour any political party that is why we don’t like mentioning names, let the will of God be done.
Where do you see the ministry in the nearest future.
Just like the word God gave us this year, every ministry comes in stages, God moves it from one stage to another, and it depends on the word God gives you in every year. This year the Lord gives us a word, “The Lord Reigns” this means in the nearest future this Ministry is going to be announce, there is going to be massive increase in the ministry within three years from now this ministry will go globally, because the Lord says he wants to prove himself that he calls me. I’m seeing the Lord increasing the ministry. I see this ministry going to places; for instant they have already given us a land in Ghana, we are also connected to India, America, UK and other nations through our various social media platforms. Meanwhile, there’s always a time for manifestation of the word of God in the life of an individual or a church, so we’re just entering that time, the season for the manifestation of the word of God in our ministry.

God has given me a word of healing, deliverance and a word of liberation, and I tell you the truth as I see your face I prophecise, there is solution in this place, like I said there is no manner of testimony we’ve not heard in this place I have prophecised to people in America, in fact, during the COVID-19 in 2020, I prophecised to six people outside the country and they got instant healing and one of them a Pastor, so God has been faithful to us and I want to welcome all those who after reading this interview will contact us through our social media platforms or come to the church. They should remember to come with a situation, there is power here the bible says where the present of God is there is liberty. Upon Mount Zion, there is deliverance, there shall be holiness, the sons of Jacob shall possess their possessions. I stand for the demonstration of God’s Power, to silent the work of satan. Let me take your mind back to when I repented in 1999, the first dream I had, I saw myself in the village with bible and i was standing in front of the Shrine in my community pulling it down and the Lord said to me; you are to pull down alters, so I don’t know whether you have any kind of sickness, I don’t care whether your life is battered or shattered once you come in contact with my God you situation will never remain the same. That is the ministry God has given to me to demonstrate his power and show the devil that God is the ruler of heaven and earth.
