As friends, associates and Nigerians at large continue to congratulates the Regent of Nri Kingdom, Prince Chief Ikenna Onyesoh (idebuteaku) over the National Youth Service Corps best host community award, members of Likeminds FC, Abuja have also congratulated him for the achievement.
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is a program set up by the Nigerian government during the military regime to involve Nigerian graduates in nation-building and the development of the country. There is no military conscription in Nigeria, but since 1973 graduates of universities and later Polytechnics have been required to take part in the National Youth Service Corps program for a compulsory one year, and it is known as national service year.

However, the management of the NYSC on Friday recognized the role of His Royal Majesty, the Regent of Nri Kingdom, Prince (Chief) Onyesoh (Idebuteaku) in promoting national integration in. Nri community.
Consequently, a member of the board of trustees of Likeminds FC Abuja chief Ugochukwu Okeke (Eyioha) and Engineer Joseph Ekwere have both congratulated His Royal Majesty for the award believing that more awards are coming to a man they see as a true nationalist, and who want the progress of Nigeria as a nation.
According to Eyioha, “The Regent of Nri is a man who believes in one Nigeria and who also believes in due process that is why he went through the right chanel to do what he was supposed to do, so I congratulate him and wish him well and pray that God should grant him more years to bring more dividends to his town, Nri and Anambra at large.”
In the same vein, a member of the club, Engr. Joseph Ekwere added that the award has proven the kind of person the Regent of Nri, Chief Ikenna truly is.
According to him, “Since I came in contact with him, I see him as a nice and open minded person irrespective of his status in the society, so for him to be awarded with such accolade I think he deserves it. A little time I have seen him, I think he is a kind hearted man
“I want to congratulate him for the recognition by the NYSC and I also wish him all the best in his Kingdom and office as the Royal Majesty, the Regent of Nri. I also pray that God will grant him more wisdom and the heart to be able to continue to have empathy for the people he is rulling,” he said.
Meanwhile, the award was presented by the Anambra state NYSC coordinator, Mrs Blessing Ikenne Iduma
While presenting the award to him she said, ” This award is in recognition of Nri community ‘s outstanding and exceptional contributions to the NYSC in promoting National unity and integration.”
