It was a new year tragedy to residents of Orozo in FCT, Abuja, as a mother of three boys simply identified as ‘iya Tunde’ went to bed with her children on Monday night only to be taken to hospital on Tuesday morning with two of her sons confirmed dead on arrival.
An eye witness report has it that the single mother of three who was abandoned by her husband who later married another woman visited her children’s father on Monday and return home before the incident took place on Tuesday morning.
The report said, the woman woke up in the morning and was trying to boil water for bathing before she took her last born to urinate outside the room, and when she got back inside, she started feeling strange movement in her body and that was the last thing she said she could remembered when she regained herself at the hospital.
Some of her neighbours who spoke with Core Reporters said, they heard her and her children shouting and calling for help before they ran in and took them to the nearby hospital (Excel Hospital) where the two boys were confirmed dead.
However, the mother and her 11-year-old first son were referred to Karshi General Hospital for further treatment.
Core Reporters understand, the incident was more of a spiritual attack than medical as such the identity of the woman is shrouded in secrecy.
