NYA national coordinator said, if the INEC will keep their hands clean before and during the process of the forthcoming general elections they are confident the elections would be free, fair and credible, but if anything contrary to that, INEC would have succeeded in rigging the elections.
” All what we are asking INEC to do is to make sure Bimodal Verification Accreditation System to remain in place and that they should not temper with it ahead of 2023 general elections.
“Also, we want INec to stop using APC card carrier  members as adhoc staff, because if that is not done that means the INEC are ready to compromise the process of the election and by so doing the election would be rig by the ruling APC,””We want to use this opportunity to call on all Nigerians and the international community to beam their satelight on the INEC on the aforementioned issues so that we can have a free, fair and credible elections come 2023,” he said.
In his response, the chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Mahmood Yakubu thanked the group for been the first group 8n Nigeria to raise fear about the Bivamodal Verification Accreditation System (BVAS), while assuring them that the INEC under his Leadership will make sure nothing happens to it on or before the elections.
