Ahead of the 2023 governorship election in Nasarawa State, the state’s indigenes of Toto Local Government Area have declared total support for Engr. Abdullahi Sule seeks a second term in office as the executive governor of the state.

This was made known when the Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. the state’s Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi who hailed from the area received his constituents in his country home Umaisha in Toto as various groups, communities and personalities trooped in for Sallah homage and solidarity for APC led government of Engr. Abdullahi Sule in the state.

The groups and personalities that visited the state number three citizen in Umaisha, included delegations from all the electoral wards in the area, former and serving government officials, from local to the state levels, district and village heads, communities and tribal groups.

Some of the leaders of the delegations, Hon. Tanko Kaura, former TMC Chairman Toto LG, Hon.Benjamin Musa Belodu, former Sole Administrator, Gadabuke Dev.Area, Hon.Kabir Ibrahim, immediate past deputy chairman Toto LG, Hon.Jibrin Maiwada Jojisa Gadabuke and a grassroots politician in Toto Town, Engr. Yusuf Kache, all reaffirmed their total commitment and support to Gov. Sule and Speaker Balarabe.

Hon. Usman Labaran Shafa of the state assembly led village head and community members of Shafan Kwatto, the state commissioner for health Pharm, Ahmed Baba Yahaya led delegations from Toto, while Hon Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas, special adviser to Gov. Sule led delegations from Gadabuke with Hon. Abdulmalik Usman, APC Chairman of FCT coming from Shafan Abakpa, as well as Comrade Salihu Rosi former NULGE chairman Toto LG among other communities and tribal groups across Toto LG.

Their mission was to appreciate the speaker for his leadership qualities and give him a message to Gov. Abdullahi Sule that the entire people of Toto LG are happy with his stewardship in the state and declare their support for the governor beyond 2023, that he remains their sole candidate, adding that, his security efforts and investment drive in the area gladdens their hearts.

Responding to the various groups as they came calling, the Speaker appreciated them for the visits and assured them that he would deliver their messages to the governor.

He said governor Sule is an upright leader with the fair of God and passion for the people of the state regarding Toto LG, especially his security efforts and investment drive in the area while calling on the people to remain united, peaceful and supportive of the governor with understanding and prayers.

The high point of the visits was the declaration of full support to the speaker by his constituents just as praise singers also had a field day.
