Abuja (Core Reporters) The Federal Commissioner, representing Cross River and Akwa Ibom States in the Federal Civil Service, Mr Ededet Eyoma on Tuesday commended the efforts of the Cross River Indigenes Development Association (CRIDA) in Abuja, for fostering peace, unity, cohesion and brotherhood for the development of the state and the Nation.
The Federal Commissioner stated this during a strategic meeting with the leadership of CRIDA led by Chief Sankara Dickson Unung in Abuja.
In statement signed by Hon Gabriel Odu, SSA Media & Strategic Communications to the President of CRIDA said, Mr Eyoma promised to provide balanced information on availability of job opportunities at the Federal level, adding that Job Seekers should possess marketable courses and skill Sets for easy absorption into the Federal Civil Service.
The President, Cross River Indigenes Development Association (CRIDA), Chief Sankara Dickson Unung hailed the appointment of Mr. Ededet Eyoma as Federal Commissioner representing the two states of Cross River and Akwa Ibom, adding that is it a testament of his excellence, integrity and fairness in whatever he does.
Unung explained that CRIDA was established to provide a platform for matters mutually beneficial, foster unity, peace, and promote development for the State.
The CRIDA President stated further that the Forum is aimed at promoting democracy, good governance, and transparency. CRIDA also holds Civil and Political leaders at all levels accountability for the prosperity of the state and the Nation.
Sankara Dickson Unung called for effective collaboration and partnership between the Office of the Commissioner and CRIDA for opportunities at the Centre, urging indigenes of the state to identify with the Association.
