There’s panic in Kurudu, a subord of the Abuja Municipal Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) as information making the round has it that robbers wrote to residents of the area behind La Vou British international school intimating them of their plans to comb the area.

Core Reporters search showed that some residents were gathered in various cells on Sunday morning lamenting the inpending catastrophe.

One of the  residents who speaks to this reporter under the condition of anonymity said the residents are helpless despite the proximity to  divisional headquarters of Kurudu police station, adding that the miscreants will still have their ways.

Meanwhile,  another resident told Core Reporters that of recent police patrol vehicles are always seen parading the said area every nights, therefore,  he believes that the presence of the police will scare them away.

But, Core Reporters investigation proved that the said area in Kurudu has been a dangerous zone to residents, adding that these men of underworld had made the area a routine for their operations.

Also,  some group of young men are always seeing drinking and smoking all through the days within the area without fear of law enforcement agencies.
