CP Nadada gave the warning on Tuesday in Lafia while he delivering lectures to officers of the Command, while  ordering their strategic deployments to protect alleged peaceful protesters.

This is sequel to the collective decision reached at an expanded security meeting convened in the state, and attended by Heads of all Security Agencies, Local Government Council Chairmen, Traditional Rulers, Labour Unions, Religious Leaders, and Civil Society Organizations where all the leaders agreed to embrace dialogue and shelve the planned protest, the Commissioner of Police, CP Umar Shehu Nadada has today, July 30, 2024 lectured all Area Commanders, Tactical Commanders, Divisional Police Officers and ordered strategic deployments of manpower and operational assets to ensure a peaceful protest in the state.

While assuring would-be peaceful protesters of adequate security coverage, the Commissioner of Police warned troublemakers or those planning to intrude the State and cause breakdown of law and order under any guise that violent protest is unlawful and will not be tolerated.
