The Chairman of the Zamfara State Independent Electoral Commission (ZASIEC),Bala Aliyu made the announcement on Sunday morning declaring the candidates of the PDP in both chairmanship and councillorship positions as winners.
Gusau (Core Reporters) As a resounding affirmation of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP’s) leadership and commitment to Zamfara State’s progress, the 14 chairmanship and councillorship candidates of the PDP have been announced as the winners of the Zamfara State local government elections held on Saturday, November 16, 2024.
The Chairman of the Zamfara State Independent Electoral Commission (ZASIEC),Bala Aliyu made the announcement on Sunday morning declaring the candidates of the PDP in both chairmanship and councillorship positions as winners.
Addressing newsmen after the collation exercise in Gusau, the Commission’s chairman said that PDP candidates had emerged victorious across all LGAs, which include Gusau, Kaura-Namoda, Maru, Talata Mafara, and Anka.
Aliyu said the local government elections were free and fair, commending the collaborative efforts of security services, election authorities, and voters
This endorsement was echoed by Wadatau Madawaki, the PDP’s delegate at the collation center, who expressed happiness over the election results.
