The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has finally approved Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja for the return leg of the World Cup qualifier playoff between the Super Eagles and Black Stars of Ghana in March.
This was contained in a CAF letter addressed to Nigeria Football on February 3, 2022.
Convening the approval CAF wrote: “Reference to the participation of the national team of Nigeria in the FIFA world cup Qatar 2022 Africa qualifiers playoff rounds which will take place from March 2021 to March 29, following the Stadium assessment and inspection process conducted by CAF, kindly find below of the venue.
“Pleases note that the approved Stadium will be set as the approved venue to host the match; Nigeria Vs Ghana related to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Africa n qualifier playoff.
