A INon league side, Ejike Ugboaja FC of Abuja, on Monday gave Nigeria Profesional Football League (NPFL’s) side, Nasarawa United a run for their money, as the mistakes of their goalkeeper gave the later an unexpected win.
It was a game to behold anyway. EUFC took the lead in the first half before the NPFL got their equalizer through EUFC goalkeeper‘s avoidable error before the break.
However, the Solid Miners got their second goal shortly after the second half kicked off before EUFC gave them another free goal before the final whistle.
Coach Bartholomew David tutored lads justified while they are currently first to reckon with in FCT before the watchful eagle eyes of national team’s coaches like Manu Garba, Coach Bala Nikyu, Coach Mansur Abdullahi among otthers.
On Tuesday EUFC will play against Atlantic FC for their second game of the tournament, while Nasarawa United will square up against Atlantic FC on Wednesday.
