The Senate of the University of Calabar has announced Feb. 5 as its resumption date for the 2019/2020 Academic Session, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Florence Obi, has said.

Obi, who disclosed this to newsmen at the end of the Senate’s meeting on Monday, in Calabar, said the date was carefully chosen to give the management sufficient time to effect repairs in the hostels, vandalised during the EndSARS protests in the institution on Oct. 24, 2020.
