Abuja (Core Reporters) Barely eight days to Christmas, residents of Kurudu area of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have raised the alarm over activities of armed robbers.

Monday night was indeed not a good one for Kurudu residents as men of the underworld again visited some areas, thereby inflicting palpable fears on the residents who stayed awake through out the night ro avoid been ronned.

Some residents who narrated their Monday’s night experiences to Core Reporters said the criminals decided to visit their area on Monday night probably to save for the yuletide.

They opined that they are used to the Armed rubbers atta k in their area, adding that once in a while they do come to robbed them with any confrontation by the security agents.

One of them who spoke with us under the condition of anonymity said, they always come when the know that the police perhaps have stop parading the area at night. But on a good day, where police men are parading the area tou hardly see them. Therefore, he called on the police to resume their operation behind Christ the King catholic church Kurudu area.

Core Reporters report that on Monday night the criminals carted away some few money from residents before they vanished when it was obvious that the police van was getting closer to the area during their night patrol.
