TCN Announces Annual Maintenance at McPherson 132/33kV Transmission Substation

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Osogbo Region, has announced a scheduled maintenance on its 40MVA 132/33kV power transformer, at McPherson Transmission Substation on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The maintenance exercise is to enable TCN crew to undertake preventive routine checks on the transformer to ensure continued optimal performance.
Consequently, Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) will be unable to off- take electricity to its customers in MacPherson, University and Ogunmakin during the period of the maintenance.
Meanwhile, TCN apologised for any inconvenience this may cause electricity consumers in the affected areas.
