Abuja (Core Reporters) As the National Sports Federations Elections draw near, the National Sports Commission (NSC) has announced Dr. Simon Ebhojiaye as the Chairman of the electoral committee to be assisted by Barr. Samson Ebomhe as his vice.

According to a statement issued by the Director of Press, NSC Kehinde Ajayi,on Saturday, August 30, the constitution of the electoral committee for the forthcoming federations elections is in line with the Commission’s mandate to uphold the principles of fairness, transparency, and accountability. the Committee has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting credible elections across all participating sports federations.

Members of the Electoral Committee include; Dr. Simon Ebhojiaye (Chairman), Barr. Samson Ebomhe (Vice Chairman), Mr. Lawal Adeoye Waheed (Member), Hon. Tunde Popoola (Member), Barr. Maryam Orotope Paul (Member), Mr. Farouk Yelima (Member) amd Mrs. Rita Mosindi (Secretary).

The Committee will announce the election timetable and oversee all processes leading to and including the conduct of the elections.

The NSC assures stakeholders and the general public of the integrity of this exercise and calls on all members of the sports community to extend their full support and cooperation to the Committee in carrying out this important national assignment.
