The Spokesperson of the Nigeria Forum of Sardauna, High Chief (Dr) Enoch Fada (Sardauna Koro Baban) of Kurmi Dangana, Kagorko LGA, Kaduna South, Kaduna State has said that the present crop of Assistant Comptrollers General of Customs have what it take to reposition the agency for optimal goal
Fada who is also, the PRO of the Sarki Fadan Talakawa, Zaki of Koro Nation and the Empire Voice of Sardauna Estate in an exclusive chat with Core Reporters in Abuja on Monday said with the like of Assistant Comptroller General of Customs Finance and Administration ACG Yakubu Salihu, (ACG F&A) and other ACGs, the agency would be in safe hands.
Reacting to the exit- of the former CG, Fada noted that the next CG should come from within, adding that the current crop of ACGs and others would be in the best in the position to take the agency forward.
High Chief N Fada, who holds the Nigeria Harbinger of Peace Order 101 Empire award from the Oder of Nigeria Entity by Indigenous Ethnic Youth Leaders of Nigeria (IEYLN), added that ACG Finance and Administration has demonstrated the zeal in the present crop of officers to move the agency forward through his hard and dedication to duty
“As royal fathers, we can’t but voice out whatever we see that will help our subjects, that is why on behalf of the Sardauna and Indigenous Ethnic Youth Leaders of Nigeria we are recommending vibrant officers to lead the agency, those with track records.
“If the right CG is giving the job, Customs is an agency that can generate huge revenue for the nation,” he said.
