Lafia Core Reporters) The Commissioner of Police, Nasarawa State Police Command, CP Shehu Umar Nadada has ordered that a suspect arrested for car theft ibe charged to court for prosecution upon conclusion of the investigation.

The suspect Sunday Bidemi was arrested by the police operatives attached to Masaka Division based on a tip-off.

However, the police at the caused of the arrest and preliminary investigation have recovered a Toyota Corolla with registration number ABJ 730 KE from the suspect

A statement by the Nasarawa State Police Command spokesperson, DSP Ramhan Nansel said, “Police operatives attached to Masaka Division based on a tip-off have arrested one Sunday Bidemi for car theft and recovered a Toyota Corolla with registration number ABJ 730 KE

“Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect absconded with the said vehicle belonging to one Barr. Wilson Egwun of Wuse II, FCT Abuja, sometime in the month of October 2024.

“The Commissioner of Police has ordered that the suspect be charged to court for prosecution upon conclusion of the investigation,” the statement said.
