Police Fix April 28–30 for Recruitment Exams, CP Shetima Warns Against Bribery

The Nasarawa State Police Command has announced that the written examination for candidates seeking enlistment into the Nigeria Police Force as Constables (General Duty and Specialist cadres) will hold from 28th to 30th April, 2026.
According to the Command, only applicants who successfully completed the recent physical and credentials screening exercise are eligible to participate in the examination.
The exam in Nasarawa State is scheduled to take place at Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic, Lafia, and will run daily within the stipulated period.
Candidates are required to log on to www.npfapplication.psc.gov.ng� from Friday, 24th April, 2026, to print their Examination Invitation Card, which will contain details of their specific date, time, and venue.
Requirements for the Examination:
A writing pen
National Identification Number (NIN) slip issued by NIMC (with a clear photograph)
Printed Examination Invitation Card
White shorts, white T-shirt, and white canvas shoes
The Command further stated that bags, mobile phones, and other electronic devices will not be allowed into the examination hall, advising candidates not to come with such items.
The Commissioner of Police, Nasarawa State Command, CP Shetima Jauro Mohammed, reiterated that the recruitment process is completely free of charge, warning that any form of job racketeering, examination malpractice, or financial inducement will not be tolerated and will be dealt with according to the law.
He urged applicants and members of the public to report any suspicious persons or activities related to the recruitment exercise to the nearest police formation.
