Corereporters can authoritatively report that Plateau State Chairman of APC, Hon Letep Dabang, the Director Of Sports, Mr Simon Monven and Professor Ishaya Pam have both congratulated Gov. Simon Lalong, the General Manager of the team, Pius Henwan and the coaching crew as well as the playing personnel for their CAF Champions League qualification.
According to the Director Of Sport, Mr. Simon Monven “The General Manager is more of an introvert, and that informs why he’s easily under rated by some soccer foes and stakeholders, but they do that to their peril.
“However, we can volunteer to you for free. Henwan is now the man to beat in both domestic and the international scene respectively.
“Above all, Plateau State is blessed with a chief executive who not only played the game, but has deep knowledge of its intrigues and dynamics,” the DOS said.
On his part, Professor Pam was very futuristic in his submissions when he volunteered that his initial criticism was misunderstood by those at the helm of affairs, but turned out as the catalyst that gingered the club to soccer’s Promised Land.
