NYSC Board Chairman Eta, DG NDE To synergise for Scheme’s Reform, Innovation
In his quest for a reformed and Innovated Scheme that will conformed to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the newly appointed Governing Board Chairman of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Ntufam Hilliard Eta has paid a courtesy visit to the Director General of the National Directorate for Employment (NDE), His Excellency, Silas Agara on Wednesday.

The visit was inline with Eta’s resolutions to live a better Scheme after his tenure as the governing board chairman.
However, their discussion centered around synergy between the NDE and NYSC in aligning both institutions with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu.
The NYSC Board Chairman Eta opined that a scheme like NYSC that is about 52 years old is in dire need of REFORM and INNOVATION to meet the evolving demands of our nation.
Recall that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu announced the appointment of Eta last week Thursday alongside 40 others and since then he has hit the ground running.
On Friday Eta paid an unscheduled visit to the headquarters of the Scheme in Abuja, where he was received by the staff of the Scheme and had a closed door meeting with the DG where perhaps he was briefed of the activities of the Scheme.
The former acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) had earlier stated that Nigeria is at the point of transition towards greatness, and one of the pillars of greatness in the country is the youths. Adding that his appointment will add value to the scheme.
Core Reporters report that the former deputy governor of Nasarawa State, Agara was full of optimism that Eta has what it takes to lead the NYSC governing board that will bring new innovation and reformation to the scheme.
