NPFL week 4: Rangers, Pillars, 5 others win at home, as Jigawa Golden star pick away win

As Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL)’s action continued across the country, Rangers International of Enugu, Kano Pillars, Wikki Tourists, Heartland Fc and Warri Wolves won their home matches, while Jigawa Golden Star picked three points in far away Abia state.

Enugu Rangers on Wednesday defeated Ifeanyiubah FC of Nnewi by 2-1 in Enugu and climbed to 2nd on the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) table.

Also, Kano Pillars piped the defending champions; Plateau United 1-0 in Kaduna, Wikki Tourists also piped Rivers United 1-0 in Tafawa  Balewa stadium, Bauchi, while, Heartland defeated Enyimba FC 2-0 in an Oriental derby and Warri Wolves thrashed Katsina united 3-0. As Jigawa Golden Stars thrashed Abia Warriors 3-1 in Aba.

In other matches played across the country; Adamawa United 0-0 Nasarawa United, Dakkada FC 1-1 MFM FC, Kwara United 1-1 Akwa United and Sunshine Stars 2-2 Lobi Stars.
