This result has however moved the Solid Miners to the 4th position on the table.
In the same vein, Kano Pillars got an important away point in a North-West derby against Katsina Utd. This result moved the Kano based NPFL side to the top of the table pending the outcome of Akwa Utd versus Enugu Rangers on Monday.
Nasarawa Utd Aliyu Abdullahi opens scoring in the 27th minute into the game. He added his second goal in 50thminute before hitting the hat trick at 61minute into the game to give the hosts a sounding victory against their visitors. Meanwhile Chijioke Akuneto got the visitors consolation goal at the 85th minutes
In other games played across the country; Plateau United also defeated Wikki Tourists 4-1 and moved to 8th position on the table. While Ifeanyi Uba and MFM defeated Sunshine Stars and Lobi Stars 1-0 each in their respective games
Rivers Utd played a 0-0 draw against Abia Warriors, Jigawa Golden Stars also played a 1-1 draw against Akwa Starlet, while Adamawa Utd and Warri Wolves settled for a 3-3 draw.
