NPFL:  Bendel Insurance extend unbeaten run to sixteen games

Bendel Insurance have extended their unbeaten run at the ongoing abridged season of the Nigerian Professional Footbal League (NPFL) to sixteen games after recorded a draw against Gombe United in Gombe on Sunday.
The newly promoted club to the nation’s apex league are currently sitting ontop of the Group A log with 32 points in 16 games, while Enyimba International FC of Aba defeated El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri 1-0 and maintain second position with 28 points in 16 games
In the Group B however, Nasarawa United and El-Kanemi Warriors are sitting deep at the relegation zone with 12 and 9 points in sixteen games thereby placing in 9 and 10 positions respectively.
In Group B, Lobi Stars of Makurdi are currently sitting at the top of the log with 29 points in sixteen games after beating Niger Tomatoes 1-0 at Aper-aku Stadium, Makurdi on Sunday.
Doma United are trailing Lobi with 25 points in 15 games in the second position. Doma game against Rivers United was postponed yesterday.

Meanwhile, Dakkada and Wikki Tourists are placed in 9th and 10th positions respectively with 13 and 9 points in sixteen games each.
Meanwhile, the abridged season will come to an end after the two remaining games for each club.
